We hope that when you leave a worship service at Gateway, you feel as if you have had an encounter with God. We are very aware that each church has its own atmosphere, so at Gateway our goal is to create an atmosphere where the Spirit of God can work on hearts without distraction. We want to laugh together, be serious together, be challenged together and grow together. This is the heart of Gateway and we'd love for you to experience that alongside us.
There are many different ways to use your talents in worship at Gateway. Mixing audio, live-streaming worship services, running lights, graphic-design or filming are just a few of the different areas where you can serve. Acapella worship sounds amazing because it involves beautiful harmony. At Gateway you will hear a blend of contemporary and hymns both modern and old. Every person that sings a specific part on the praise team leads other worshipers both in spirit and part. Beyond leading parts vocally, we believe in modeling the right heart of worship. We strive to be the type of church that welcomes a variety of physical expression in worship. "Sanctuary" is defined as a holy or sacred place. We decided years ago that we wanted to provide an additional space where people could come together and worship apart from the traditional Sundays. So once a month on Wednesday nights from September through May, we spend time together praising God creatively. There are many different varieties of expression at Sanctuary that are not usually experienced on Sunday mornings. This gathering encourages and celebrates creativity and unique giftedness all in the form of a worshipful time together. What gift might you bring to the Sanctuary in praise to the God?
